@MrRajitha Yep, different cultures start eating in different ways, but it’s pretty consistant with starting from towards you on the plate, almost clearing up a small “clear area” at the edge.. then bring in a bit of rice, and other stuff.. mix it with the fingers well, some people clump this mixture into a small ball, and then eat it :)

great stuff though man! and glad you enjoyed your visit in lanka and experienced the lovely food!

hi Mark…I really appriciate what you doing….I love your vidoes….you it by hand awsomely for your first time..but there is some correction… The method is you have to start from your side..take some other vege, meat and all things to that place and mixed it…no need to take your fingers all arounf the plate…but itz nice trying….you are a awesome traveler..wish you all da very best ..please come again to sri lanka and try different kinds of food..there are lots of.. thnak you

@TravelYourself Seriously…the single restaurant in Sri Lankan where people were eating with forks and spoons haha – and I had no idea, because the people eating in front of me were all eating with their hands haha!

@jennjaytea so the guy eating with a spoon is eating the single (1) dish (kottu) that they eat with a spoon in Sri Lanka – weird enough, he happened to be eating right behind me…of course! But anyway, most of the country eats all meals with their hands – especially eating rice and curry. Thanks for watching the video!
