The cops are only agents. Who gave the order for arrest or confiscation? And by what authority?

@ferval59 Almost all Amer’s are sheeple. Real citizens would have stopped a false arrest, and would not be intimidated by who is trying to do it. 100 people and they are all incapable of stopping a false arrest, and dismissing several folks who were there to arrest people and not be recorded. In all fairness, almost everyone in the country would react the same way, so I want to make it clear that I am not trying to single out the people at this meeting. It is commendable that they did leave.

Way to go Mr. Policeman. We are so impressed. You arrested a reporter for documenting a public meeting. You should get a medal. Hell, you should get the key to the city. /clap

Police state! Supreme court needs to step in that recording in public and of police is always allowed and this cannot be hindered in any way. If it is than law enforcement and the officer infringing that persons rights are responsible and liable in civil and criminal court. That will put an end to this crap. That cop feared no repercussions that’s why he did it..

Welcome to your new fascism. The “police” are no longer here to “serve and protect”….YOU! They work for the people with the money and are here to remind you that freedom and your rights are DEAD! THAT’S THERE JOB!
They are out there to bully you, humiliate you, hurt you and harass you, to acclimate you to the coming martial law! They are now paid to show you that the wealthy are now our BOSS!
These are REAL “pigs”! SELLOUTS! TRAITORS to the USA! They do this for money and privileges! GROSS!

everyone should obtain a copy of False Arrest and Police Misconduct by JURIS PUBLISHING (out of print but you can get a PDF copy).
Know the difference between a peace officer and a law enforcement officer. When more people know how to end careers and financial destroy police and supervisors who abuse power change will happen.

This is yet another example of why we need smaller government. Government is not, never has been, nor ever will be the answer to any of our problems. They should enforce the contracts we willingly enter amongst ourselves and otherwise stay out of our lives.

“I’m not giving you the right to record me”

That’s fine bitch, you don’t need to. The Constitution gives me every right to record you and I don’t need your permission. You’re in a public meeting, acting in a public capacity, and you have absolutely ZERO expectation of privacy.

There needs to be a way of prosecuting and imprisoning government officials and employees who violate the law or enforce and enact unjust laws. There needs to be a separate branch or government or a “meta-government” with the specific task or investigating and prosecuting government officials and employees for their official actions if those official actions are unjust, or infringe individual rights in the course of their job. Imprisonment for government officials and employees.

the cop is real arrogant and on a power trip here! You can see he resents not being in charge of the whole state Police and is merely a plonker in a uniform. Why do people in uniforms think they are important? The question is though who gave him this instruction to follow this procedure? It looks like something out of 1970 Eastern Germany. I am glad i don’t live in the Jewunited Staes of America! I live in the Jewnited Kingdom which is almost as bad lol

You where arrested because those cops who always blow their chests up with air like blow fish love power of busting and oppression. They are blood thirsty and on a power trip. You were only targetted because they’re like seal hunters wanting someone’s one’s head to crack with a bat.

Welcome to the DC police state! WHO ordered this journalist from the meeting? Who is responsible….there should be an all out protest at the Mayors office, and make this go viral in this country. Is this what we can expect as 2012 rolls around. I thought the police were going to STAND with the people, NOT against us…guess if there salaries arent in question….they turn on civilians.

The right to free speech and the right to peaceful assemble are being trampled upon. In the long term, this will not be tolerated and the police state will backfire. The American people are beginning to arouse and awaken and they will NOT tolerate this. FREEDOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This crazy stuff is why after a lifetime in DC, I will be moving across the river to VA next year. DC is an irredeemably a backward, corrupt, third-world government. And the vast majority of voters, the socialists, keep voting the same person into office decade after decade, only the names change. Socialists love slavery.
