Tampa has a nice romantic sunset beach, almost an hour drive from Orlando. The other coast, cocoa beach, daytona, etc, is a little farther.. a taxi?? Wow, hundreds of dollars IF you can get one to take you. Try a limo service from airport. Also, are you old enough to rent a car?

A taxi will be extremely pricey. Renting a car in Orlando is fairly cheap and a much better option. Even if you purchase the full insurance coverage, it should be no more than $80 per day. A taxi will cost much more than that.

A Mears taxi -driver would be more than happy to take you to the beach. Cabs run on meters and I expect that it would run you maybe $150. Of course you could ask for 8 person van at the same price.
Coming back might be a problem.. The Orlando driver cannot legally pick up at the beach unless you have contracted him/her for the day.
