Read ‘Andy Kaufman Revealed’ by Bob Zmuda and not films trying to be dramatic with one trick Canadian comedians. Only a minority of our population are interested in celebrities and when you aren’t murdering our English geniuses or your own Presidents (believing you need to still carry arms because we will invade you some time soon), are continually obsessed with our inbred Germanic Royal Family. I suggest you all invest in a diet book, an Oxford Dictionary and a passport.

@Moolafoo No it was Tony Danza and Andy that didn’t get along. If you watch Man On The Moon (that biography of Andy that wasn’t as good as could have been, due to facts being a bit wrong) you will notice that ONLY Tony Danza does not reprise his character…Lloyd, Henner, Hirshe, Conway (plus De Vito obviously) all came back to do their characters…Tony Danza refused….As HE hated Andy Kaufman.

I was saying it is Judd you are being disrespectful to. Odds are the producers of TAXI, not Judd, were the ones who chose which bloopers to be shown! Think about it.

@Moolafoo Ah, The British false sense of superiority. If you mean Americans don’t read, then you’re dead wrong. If we didn’t, books written by Brits(Ian Fleming, Sir Doyle, J.K. Rowling) wouldn’t sell half as well. And if you mean we don’t read biographies, no, our interest in the lives of celebrities isn’t nearly as insane as yours.(Don’t believe me? Compare our Star magazine to your Daily Mirror sometime!)
And, this WAS a blooper show, so nowhere is Andy shown messing up. So he is respected.

@DrJekyll38 Dear Jekyll, having read a lot about Andy in biographies (English people do this, Americans generally don’t), it was well known the two of them hated each other. Judd Hirsh couldn’t stand Andy and didn’t get him. Not sure who I am being disrespectful to??? Still stand by my comments.. next?

@Moolafoo Perhaps because he was trying to be respectful to Andy, who died of cancer barely a year after TAXI went off the air! And Perhaps you might try being a little respectful yourself!?

Love Judd Hirsh!
Great actor, saw almost all his movies…Christopher Lloyed is a genius writer. He wrote for “The Golden Girls” and plenty of other sitcoms. Good guys these guys!

For Christs’ sake! They should have added these (& more) to the Taxi season 4 DVD. In fact, all the seasons should have had the blooper reels attached. Hopefully, season 5 will (although, it’s highly unlikely).
