A story of a guy who snapped because he had too high of standards for the world he lived in and expected more out of others than they expected from themselves, and again, snapped because of fustration and disapointment. This character is a hero, he saved that girl from a f’d up short life she was sure to have if she had stayed on the path she was on.

It’s like anything Scorsese and De Niro touch, turns to gold. No offense to his other movies without De Niro, none at all. The Departed was awesome.
